Exploitation is a complex, systemic issue that requires a collective, coordinated response. Disrupting Exploitation is designed to empower professionals at every level of safeguarding to work together in preventing harm and creating safer environments for young people.

This session blends classroom training with practical workshops, equipping you with the tools, knowledge, and strategies to disrupt exploitation. We focus on how multi-agency teams can collaborate effectively, share innovative practices, and create proactive, holistic interventions. After all, disrupting exploitation requires a collective, coordinated response.

    • Understand the core principles of disrupting exploitation, identifying who needs to be involved, and how to work collaboratively with multi-agency partners for maximum impact.

    • Develop strategies to target key spaces, places, and faces linked to exploitation, and use these insights to disrupt harmful behaviours and environments.

    • Explore and implement a range of disruption tools and strategies, considering how to adapt and apply them in your context to address and prevent exploitation effectively.

  • This training is suitable for any teams working with children, such as Children's Services, Alternate Provision Staff, Youth Service, and third sector support services.

  • This training can be delivered either face to face or online.
