Frequently Asked Questions

Can the training sessions be delivered remotely or in person? How many people can attend each training session?

Our training sessions can be delivered either remotely or in person, whichever suits you better. In terms of attendance numbers, again we want to meet your needs. The only things that we would ask you to consider is the difference in engagement and impact that is often commented on when comparing on-line and face to face training and bigger Vs smaller groups. If your only option is to have a bigger group we can consider adding a second trainer.

Do you offer training for staff at different levels (e.g, frontline workers, managers, strategic leads)?

Yes! All of our training is designed to meet the needs of your staff team whether they are new to the subject or have years of experience. We know that this wide range of knowledge often exists within the training room and are experienced in creating an interactive learning space in which teams are encouraged to learn from the facilitator and each other. In addition we offer systems change implementation workshops specifically for managers and senior practitioners who need the subject knowledge but also the skills required to drive forward effective change.

What is the Wraparound Service and how is it tailored to each organisation? How do you determine what kind of training or consultancy support we need?

Our wraparound service and consultancy is primarily influenced by you and your needs. We want to spend time getting to know your service and can do that through meetings, attending meetings that are already in place, offering opportunities to front-line staff to talk to us about their needs, anything that works for you. We will be flexible to meet your needs and want to foster open lines of communication that enable you to feel like we’re part of your team.

Is there flexibility in the duration or scope of your service packages?

Yes! The duration and scope of our packages is tailored to meet your needs. We have wraparound clients that we have worked with for over two years, but also ones that we have worked with for only a few months. What we would say is that we never truly leave a wraparound client, if we can support you even after the service has ended we will! In terms of the scope of our packages we will always be honest with you and if you, or we, think that your team would benefit from training that we are not best placed to offer we will tell you, explain why and support you to find the subject experts that you and your team deserve.

Do you customise sessions to match local safeguarding contexts or regional risks?

Yes! We want our training to be relatable and accessible for all attendees and therefore all of our sessions are customised to match local safeguarding contexts and regional risks. We often change case studies to use local examples. We also encourage attendees to discuss experiences that they have had to share learning and support multi-agency working.
