Neurodiversity and Exploitation
This training challenges misconceptions around neurodiversity. It examines the critical intersection between neurodivergence and exploitation, not as a result of inherent vulnerability, but through the lens of how perpetrators identify and target differences. Practitioners will feel empowered to support, stand alongside, and advocate for neurodivergent young people with nuance, respect, and action.

Develop a greater understanding of the various diagnoses and labels under neurodivergence
Examine the complex relationship between neurodivergence and victimisation, including the factors contributing to the over-representation of neurodivergent children among exploited victims in the UK.
Identify practical strategies to advocate for and effectively support neurodivergent individuals.

This training is suitable for any teams working with children, such as Children's Services, Alternate Provision Staff, Youth Service, and third sector support services.
