Safeguarding Children: For Leaders and Managers

This two-day advanced programme is designed for senior leaders and safeguarding professionals seeking to embed a culture of excellence across their organisation. The course focuses on strategic safeguarding leadership, exploring how to evaluate, implement and sustain best practice at every level of governance and delivery.
Participants will critically examine current legislation, guidance and case learning, developing the insight and tools needed to shape policies, lead teams, and oversee effective risk management and decision-making.
Through reflective exercises and case-based discussion, leaders will explore how to strengthen systems, manage allegations, and embed learning from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPRs), ensuring safer and more accountable organisational cultures.
Upon successful completion of this training, each participant will be awarded a Level 5 OCN accreditation, provided by OCNCredit4Learning
