Young people’s experiences of Harm Outside the Home are complex, often fluid, and not easily addressed by traditional safeguarding models. From peer-on-peer violence to exploitation, risk occurs both in the community and online.

SaferNow is offering a set package of training sessions designed to support organisations in building knowledge and practice in this area. The training focuses on places, spaces and faces that facilitate or perpetrate harm, whilst teaching how to effectively safeguard those who may experience harm. 

This package brings together five of our essential core training sessions that explore key elements of working effectively with Harm Outside the Home. The sessions cover real-world practice, ground themselves in theory, and provide practitioners with actionable takeaways they can immediately implement in their practice.
